Param Vir Chakra Abdul Hameed’s wife says Akhilesh Yadav felicitated wrong woman

Wife of Param Vir Chakra Abdul Hameed, Rasoolan Bibi, on Saturday alleged that Samajwadi Party felicitated a wrong woman in her name.

Azamgarh district unit of the Samajwadi Party had organised a program at the Nathhupur village on Wednesday where former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav was to unveil the statue of Ram Samujh Yadav, also a martyr. The party had invited the kin of the martyrs from the district and nearby areas, who were felicitated by Akhilesh on this occasion.
While talking to ANI on Saturday morning Rasoolan Bibi claimed that she didn't attend any event and it was someone else who was felicitated by the Samajwadi Party leader.
"Was at home, didn't go anywhere," Rasoolan Bibi, wife of Param Vir Chakra Abdul Hameed told ANI on being asked if she attended any felicitation event.
Her grandson also backed the statement by saying that a wrong woman was felicitated by the former UP CM.

"I was neither invited nor attended the function," a shocked Rasoolan told reporters on Friday, '' Deccan Herald quoted Rasoolan Bibi as saying.
Havildar Abdul Hamid of 4 Grenadiers, who was commander of the RCL (Recoilless) gun detachment, had destroyed several enemy tanks in Khemkaran sector during the 1965 Indo-Pak war.
