Pakistan U-turn: No Indian Troops Captured, Says Khawaja Asif After Terror Camp Strikes
Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has withdrawn his earlier claim that three Indian soldiers were captured as Prisoners of War (PoW) following India's military operation. According to WION's Pakistani bureau chief Anas Mallick, Asif has now clarified that no Indian soldiers have been taken into custody.
In his updated statement, Asif alleged that Indian soldiers were fleeing their positions. However, he did not provide any evidence to substantiate this claim, and WION has stated it cannot independently verify the assertion.

This development comes in the wake of India's launch of Operation Sindoor, a series of precision strikes by the Indian Armed Forces targeting terrorist camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
