In a significant escalation along the border, military stations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur, located near the International Boundary in Jammu & Kashmir, were targeted by Pakistan using a combination of missiles and drones, the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) confirmed in an official statement.

The HQ IDS posted on X (formerly Twitter),"Military Stations of Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur in proximity to the International Boundary, in Jammu & Kashmir targeted by Pakistan using missiles and drones. No losses. Threat neutralised by Indian Armed Forces as per SoP with kinetic & non-kinetic means."

According to officials, the attack caused no damage or casualties, and was swiftly countered by the Indian Armed Forces, following the Standard Operating Procedure (SoP). The response reportedly included both kinetic and non-kinetic measures, indicating the use of advanced interception systems and electronic warfare techniques.

Security agencies have intensified surveillance along the border, and a high alert has been issued in the region. This incident comes amid heightened tensions, with previous reports of attempted drone intrusions and missile firings into Indian territory.
