The Indian Army killed seven Pakistani soldiers and injured four in areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in retaliation for the killing of an Indian solider in Pakistani firing on Saturday.

Even as the Indian Army claimed a big win on Army Day, Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that while four of its soldiers were killed by shelling across the Line of Control (LoC) and Kashmir's Jandrot sector, three Indian soldiers were also killed and a "few injured" in an exchange of fire.

In yet another separate incident, Army also killed six Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists.
