Shocking! Pakistan Independence Day listed under important dates in MP university

Bhopal, Mar 18: A university in Madhya Pradesh found itself in trouble after it emerged that varsity has listed Pakistan's Independence-Day as important dates of 2016.

The shocking news has emerged from Dr Hari Singh Gour University, popularly known as Sagar University, the oldest and the biggest university of Madhya Pradesh.

Apart from India's Republic Day, Independence Day, the varsity has also mentioned Pakistan's Independence Day as import dates in the list of important dates of 2016.

Doctor Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Sagar (A Central University), formerly University of Saugor, was established on 18th July 1946 by Dr. Sir Hari Singh Gour.

The founder of the varsity Hari Singh Gour was the first vice-chancellor of the University of Delhi.
