'Opposition will come like a Tornado': Mamata Banerjee warns BJP
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday came down heavily on the Narendra Modi-led BJP government for threatening her party leaders with central agencies.
Stepping up her attack on the BJP, Banerjee said when the opposition comes together it will be 'like a tornado'.

"Sometimes silence is golden. Don't think the opposition is not united. We all are together and everybody is maintaining cordial relations with each other. When the time comes, Opposition will come like a tornado," Banerjee said.
She also rejected senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari's claim that she had called Union Home Minister Amit Shah over Election Commission's decision to revoke TMC's national party status.
"I will resign if it is proven that I called Amit Shah over TMC's national party status," Mamata Banerjee was quoted saying by news agency PTI.
Banerjee further claimed that BJP will get less than 200 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Mamata Banerjee on Mukul Roy
Asked about Mukul Roy's missing incident, the chief minister said that the state administration will look into the missing complaint filed by Subhrangshu about his father.
"Mukul Roy is BJP's MLA, it is his wish if he wants to go to Delhi or not," Banerjee said.
On same-sex marriage
The TMC leader refused to comment on same-sex marriage, saying the matter is sub judice.
"I will not say anything because the matter is sub judice. I love people who love others. This matter is sensitive, and I have to see the pulse of the people. I will have to see the order of the court and then we can form an opinion," Banerjee said.
