Opposition parties are struggling for survival, says Union Minister Smriti Irani
Launching a scathing attack on opposition parties forming an alliance against BJP in upcoming general elections Union Minister of Textiles, Smriti Irani on Saturday said that the opposition parties are struggling for survival. She also said that several parties are coming against the BJP is a backhanded compliment to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which shows that they can't win on their own.
Addressing media, Irani said,''They're struggling for survival. The coming together of several parties against the BJP is a backhanded compliment to PM Modi, which shows that they can't win on their own.''
''Ruling party in West Bengal is a part of consolidated opposition which's fighting against PM Modi. As a result, they're indulging in targeted killings of BJP workers. Govt there has failed to maintain law & order & isn't able to deliver justice to families of victims,'' Smriti Irani said.
Her comments came after a body of a BJP worker, Dulal Kumar, who went missing on Friday, was found hanging from a pole in Balarampur of Purulia district on Saturday.
