Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Accuses Opposition of Conspiring to Incite Unrest

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami accused the opposition of attempting to create unrest in the state. He claimed they are inciting religious, regional, and caste sentiments due to their frustration from being out of power. Dhami assured that as long as he is in office, these efforts will not succeed.

During a flag hoisting event at the BJP state headquarters on Ram Navami, Dhami emphasised unity among party workers. He stated, "We are united and determined to make Uttarakhand the best state in the country. We are all fellow travellers in this journey of a developed state and it will not stop until the goal is achieved."

Achievements and Governance

Dhami highlighted his government's achievements, including implementing the Uniform Civil Code and reviving long-pending projects like Lakhwar, Song Dam, and Jamrani Dam. He credited these developments to the "double engine government" of BJP at both central and state levels.

He took a dig at previous administrations, saying they only made plans without execution. In contrast, his government not only plans but also completes projects. He urged party workers to prepare for upcoming Panchayat elections, showcasing confidence in BJP's continued success.

Party's Growth and Future Prospects

The Chief Minister paid tribute to BJP's founders and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He noted that under Modi, BJP has become the world's largest organisation. Dhami expressed optimism about BJP's future victories, citing their governance record over the past three years.

He mentioned that BJP's efforts have led to significant milestones, such as celebrating Ram Navami at Lord Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya after 500 years. Dhami believes these achievements will help BJP secure another win in Uttarakhand by 2027.

Dhami concluded by expressing hope for continued public support due to the party's governance track record. He highlighted that people have repeatedly chosen BJP both at the Centre and in various states, attributing this to their effective administration.
