Odisha CM and Governor Praise Athletes Animesh Kujur and Srabani Nanda for Asian Championships Success

Odisha's athletes Animesh Kujur and Srabani Nanda received accolades from Governor Haribabu Kambhampati and Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for their impressive performances at the Asian Athletics Championships in South Korea. Kujur earned a bronze medal in the men's 200m event, while Nanda's team secured a silver in the women's 4x100m relay.

Recognition for Odisha Athletes

The Chief Minister expressed his pride in a post on X, stating, "My congratulations to the women's team that won the silver medal in the women's 4 × 100 meters relay race at the #AsianAthleticsChampionships held in Gumi, South Korea. I also heartily congratulate the Odia sprinter Srabani Nanda, who is also a part of the team." He emphasised that their achievements bring pride and honour to Odisha.

Majhi further praised Kujur, highlighting his contribution to making the nation proud. He wished Kujur continued success and hoped he would achieve greater heights in his sporting career. The Chief Minister extended his best wishes for Kujur's future competitions.
