Odisha: Bus Bound To Kolkata Falls From Flyover, 5 Dead, Several Injured

According to the reports, five people lost their lives, including a woman, and several got injured after a Kolkata-bound bus fell from a bridge on Monday late evening. The reports said that the saddening accident happened at Jajpur district's Barabati bridge on National Highway-16 in Odisha.

Reportedly the bus was carrying 40 passengers and was heading to Kolkata from Puri.

Soon after the accident, locals called for emergency services and transported injured to a nearby hospital. Police also reached the swiftly and the rescue operation is underway.
