Now woman alleges assault by Mohammed Nalapad Haris: Watch video

A video of a lady claiming that she had been assaulted by Mohammed Nalapad Haris, son of the Congress MLA has surfaced. Haris was in the headlines for assaulting a youth in a pub at Bengaluru.

The lady, Poornima who posted the video on the page of Mangalore Hindus says that she had tried to file a complaint against Mohammad Haris, but did not get any support.

She says that the awareness about the recent incident is because it is election year. She said none in politics or the media had given her justice. She alleged that she had been assaulted by Haris and other at an NGO conference.

I went to the Cubbon Park police and registered a case. The police said that the location of where the incident occurred did not fall under their jurisdiction. I went to the Halasuru police station and they asked me to go back to the Cubbon Park police station.

She said that she highlighted the case before the media, but did not get justice. Has the media been fixed by Haris, she asked.
