None can freely…..India’s take down of Pakistan at UNHRC
India has time and again hit out at Pakistan at the UNHRC and said that the country is no place to live for the minority
India yet again slammed Pakistan at the United nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) over the issue of religious minorities and terrorism.
India's representative Seema Pujani outlined the fact that the religious minorities are faced with persecution for merely practising their faith.

"Pakistan's representative has once again chosen to misuse this august forum for its malicious propaganda against India. No religious minority can freely live or practice its religion in Pakistan today. The Ahmadiya community continues to be persecuted by the state for simply practicing their faith," Pujani said at the UNHRC.
"Equally worse is the treatment of the Christian community. It is frequently targeted through draconian blasphemy laws. State institutions officially reserve sanitation jobs for Christians," Pujani also said.
The Indian diplomat also criticised Pakistan for aiding terrorism and said that the security agencies of Pakistan have fostered and protected UNSC-designated terrorists such as Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar for long.
"Pakistan actively lends its energies to aiding, hosting, and abetting international terrorists when it is not entirely focused on suppressing its own populace. It has the unique distinction of hosting the most number of UNSC-designated terrorists and terror organisations," she also said.
Seema Pujani also called out Islamabad and reminded the council about Pakistan's history of supporting terrorism.
"Allow me to recall that Osama bin Laden lived next to Pakistan's premier military academy. Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azar have been nurtured and sheltered by Pakistani security agencies for decades. These are but a few dreaded names from the annals of Pakistan's history of supporting terrorism," she said.
Human rights in Pakistan:
Pakistan has been criticised several times over its human rights records. The persecution of the minority Hindus, Christians and Sikhs is nothing new in Pakistan.
Concerns have been raised about freedom of expression, extra judicial killings, religious discrimination, women rights, child labour and death penalty.
Human rights organisations have time and again called on Pakistan to take action against such discrimination, but the country chooses to remain mum on the issue.
