Noida Traffic Advisory: Check Diversions To Avoid Congestion At Delhi-Noida Routes Due To Farmers' Protest

Security measures have been heightened by the Noida Police in anticipation of a farmers' protest march towards Delhi. On Monday, they issued detailed traffic advisories and conducted vehicle checks to manage potential disruptions. The advisory includes restrictions and diversions as farmers plan to march towards the Parliament complex.

The farmers are advocating for compensation and benefits under the new agricultural laws, including a legal guarantee on the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Sukhbir Khalifa, leader of the Bhartiya Kisan Parishad (BKP), stated that farmers will gather under the Maha Maya flyover in Noida at noon before heading to Delhi.

Traffic Restrictions and Alternate Routes

Noida Police have intensified monitoring at all border points between Noida and Delhi. Rigorous checks and traffic diversions are being implemented to ensure safety at these borders. Commuters should be aware of alternate routes due to these restrictions.

Vehicles traveling from Chilla Border to Greater Noida should take the Sector 14-A flyover, proceed through Golchakkar in Sector-15, and continue via Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk and Jhunjhupura Chowk. This route will help them reach their destination smoothly.

For those coming from DND Border to Delhi, it is advisable to use the Film City flyover, then head towards Sector-18 and use the Elevated Road for easier access into Delhi. This route is expected to be less congested.

Additional Route Suggestions

General cars traveling from Kalindi Border towards Delhi should use the Mahamaya flyover, then proceed via Sector-37. This path will facilitate a smoother journey into Delhi amidst traffic diversions.

Commuters from Greater Noida heading towards Delhi are advised to use Charkha Golchakkar, then proceed via Kalindi Kunj for seamless access into Delhi. This route is recommended for avoiding heavy traffic areas.

Cars coming from Greater Noida to Delhi through Sector-51 should utilize the Hajipur underpass. They can then proceed towards Kalindi Kunj via Sector-51 and Model Town for an uninterrupted journey into Delhi.

The BKP, along with other farmer organizations like Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) and Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), announced their intention to march on Monday. Their demands focus on compensation and benefits under new agricultural laws.

This protest highlights ongoing tensions surrounding agricultural reforms in India. Authorities are taking measures to manage traffic disruptions while ensuring public safety during this demonstration.
