Noida Teacher Shot, Two Held

An 18-year-old and a juvenile were arrested in Greater Noida for allegedly shooting a schoolteacher over a personal matter involving the sister of the juvenile.

In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old youth was arrested, and a juvenile apprehended in Greater Noida on Thursday for allegedly firing a gunshot at a 26-year-old schoolteacher. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning near Sakipur village under the Surajpur Police Station area.

Reason Behind the Attack

According to the police, the duo attacked the teacher, Rakib Hussain, to teach him a lesson over a personal matter involving the sister of the juvenile. The accused had stopped Hussain near his school and spoke to him for a few minutes to confirm his identity before shooting at him. The bullet grazed past his earlobe, causing injuries.

Investigation and Arrests

An FIR was registered, and an investigation was initiated. Based on inputs, the police apprehended the two accused near Makora roundabout in Greater Noida on Thursday. During the preliminary inquiry, the accused revealed that the teacher had allegedly inappropriately touched the juvenile's sister around a month ago during a tuition class.

Involvement of Another Student

The juvenile's sister, who is a class 11 student, shared her ordeal with her brother and his friend, Chandrashekhar. Both decided to confront the teacher about the incident.

Inappropriate Chats Found on Teacher's Phone

During the investigation, the police discovered inappropriate chats between the teacher and some of his students on his mobile phone. The school administration has been informed about these findings, and legal action may be taken against the teacher as well.
