Noida Ramps Up Security with 4,000 Police Personnel for Ayodhya Event
Noida and Greater Noida have significantly increased security measures by deploying over 4,000 police personnel. Social media platforms are closely monitored to prevent misinformation that could disrupt law and order.
In light of the upcoming Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratishthan programme in Ayodhya on Monday, security measures have been significantly enhanced in Noida and Greater Noida, which share borders with Delhi and Haryana. Over 4,000 police personnel have been deployed across the region to ensure law and order.

Enhanced Vigilance and Social Media Monitoring
To maintain peace and order, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate has divided the area into three super zones, 10 zones, and 26 sectors. Additionally, 350 additional police forces and two companies of PAC (Provincial Armed Constabulary) have been allocated to police stations. Sniffer dogs, anti-sabotage, and bomb disposal squads are actively inspecting railway stations, bus stands, metro stations, malls, and markets to prevent any potential threats.
Furthermore, the local-raised Pinaka commando team is on standby to handle any unforeseen situations. A fleet of 150 four-wheelers, 160 two-wheelers, and 116 two/four-wheelers from Dial 112 are constantly patrolling the area to maintain vigilance.
Traffic Management and Border Security
To ensure smooth traffic flow on Monday, 325 traffic personnel have been deployed across Noida and Greater Noida. Additionally, 20 checkpoints have been established at inter-state borders to thoroughly inspect suspicious individuals and vehicles.
Religious Places Under Surveillance
Recognizing the importance of religious harmony, police personnel have been strategically positioned at all religious sites within the district. To further strengthen security, 60 special teams have been formed to monitor the vicinity of religious places from 3 am to 6 am, effectively deterring any potential malicious activities.
Combating Misinformation on Social Media
In the digital age, the Noida Police are actively monitoring social media platforms like Facebook, X, and Instagram to combat the spread of misinformation or content that could disrupt law and order. The Social Media Cell diligently tracks individuals spreading rumors, while the surveillance team monitors suspicious activities to ensure a peaceful environment.
With these comprehensive security measures in place, Noida and Greater Noida are well-prepared to host the Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratishthan programme in Ayodhya. The unwavering commitment of the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate to maintaining law and order ensures a safe and secure environment for all residents and visitors.
