Noida Police lodges FIR on forgery charges against a man involved in the rape and murder case. Principal of private school booked for assisting with forged mark sheets.

In a recent development, the Noida Police has lodged an FIR against a man for forgery related to his son's rape and murder case seven years ago. The man is accused of producing fabricated school mark sheets in court to claim his son was a juvenile at the time of the crime. Additionally, officials revealed that the principal of a private school in Kanpur Dehat has also been booked for assisting him with these forged documents.

forgery charges

The father and principal are being accused of misleading the court by presenting false age details about the son, who was implicated in rape charges. They claimed that he was 17 at the time of committing the crime when he was actually 19 as asserted by the victim’s mother. This information came from an order issued by Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) principal magistrate Divykant Singh Rathore.

The case revolves around a horrifying incident where a 17-year-old girl was raped and murdered at her rented accommodation in Greater Noida in 2016 by her cousin residing in Mandavali area of Delhi. An FIR concerning this matter was filed on October 9 at Phase 2 Police Station following an order from JJB member Arun Kumar Gupta.

Father Connives With School Principal

According to Gupta's October 4th order meant for local police, "The man has connived with the principal of a school in Kanpur Dehat district and produced forged educational documents for his son which were presented before court." These falsified documents were used to portray his son as juvenile during that period.

Punishable Under Indian Penal Code

Gupta further noted that such actions committed by both individuals are punishable under sections 465 and 468 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), falling under cognizable offence category. He directed police officials to lodge an FIR against the man. Vindhyachal Tiwari, the in-charge of Phase 2 Police Station, confirmed that an FIR has been lodged under IPC sections 465, 468 and 471 – all related to forgery of documents.

As per Tiwari's statement given on Wednesday, police teams are actively working to apprehend the accused individuals. Although they were not found at their residential addresses, searches are ongoing to ensure their early arrest.

In conclusion, this case underscores the lengths some people will go to protect their loved ones from facing justice. However, it also highlights the vigilant efforts by law enforcement agencies who continue to work tirelessly towards upholding justice and ensuring that such unlawful acts do not go unpunished. The development serves as a stern reminder that any attempt to mislead our legal system or obstruct justice will be dealt with severely according to Indian laws.
