Noida death mystery haunts police, man dies in car fire; wife, kid found dead at home

Noida, July 21: Death mystery in Greater Noida have been haunting the city police as the cops have been struggling to crack a mysterious case. A man died in his car as the car caught fire. When police reached his home to inform his family members about his death, another shocking news was waiting for them.

Cops found the two bodies inside the house and later discovered that the duo were none other than but wife and 5-year-old daughter of the deceased. The tragic incident confused the city police.

The man was charred to death in his car on Greater Noida Expressway and his family was found killed at an apartment in Gurgaon.

After initial investigation, the police traced the identity of the deceased -- Nitin and they also traced his address through the chassis number of the badly burnt car.

The car was registered on a Rohtak address and from there the police found his current residence of Gurgaon. When the police reached Pratik Apartments at Sector 120 in Gurgaon, they found bodies of his wife and five-year-old daughter.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police Preetinder Singh, the woman and the girl appeared to have been murdered about three days ago.

Prima facie, Nitin might have killed them and later committed suicide, he said, adding the murder by a third person is not ruled out and a probe is on. Nitin was working at a private company in Greater Noida.
