'No Tushtikaran, Only Santushtikaran', Says PM Modi In LS; Opposition Chants 'Justice For Manipur'
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed on the historic significance of his election for a third consecutive term, highlighting the confidence and trust the Indian populace has placed in his leadership and his government's policies.
Addressing Parliament in response to the motion of thanks on the President's address, Modi remarked, "The people of India have given us the opportunity to serve them for a third successive term. It is a very important incident in the history of the country."

He pointed to his administration's ten-year track record, reaffirming his commitment to fighting corruption.
"When we came for the first time in 2014, we had promised zero tolerance against corruption," he said.
He described corruption as a severe issue that had infested the country like termites and attributed the public's continued support to his government's unwavering anti-corruption stance.
Modi also took a critical view of previous Congress-led governments, stating, "The country witnessed the politics and governance model of appeasement for a long time."
He contrasted this with his administration's approach of 'justice for all, appeasement to none,' summarising it with the slogan, "Country saw appeasement politics for long, we followed 'santushtikaran' not 'tushtikaran'."
The Opposition benches created a ruckus as soon as Modi began speaking in the House, raising slogans of "justice for Manipur" throughout his entire speech.
