'No One Above Sanatan': Yogi Adityanath In Ayodhya

Yogi Adityanath highlights Ram Temple dates and Ayodhya ceremonies

At the anniversary event, Yogi Adityanath underlined three important dates linked to the Ram Temple. He described 5 August 2020 as historic, because Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the grand temple in Ayodhya on that day, starting a new chapter for the city.

Yogi Adityanath then mentioned 22 January 2024, when Narendra Modi returned to Ayodhya to lead the Pran Pratishtha ceremony for the idol of Ram Lalla at the temple complex. Yogi Adityanath said these moments showed Ayodhya’s central place in national life and religious traditions.

Yogi Adityanath on Sanatan Dharma and previous governments

The Chief Minister also referred to Narendra Modi’s third important visit on 25 November, when the Prime Minister ceremonially hoisted a saffron flag atop the Ram Temple. Yogi Adityanath said the programme delivered a clear message that Sanatan Dharma remains above every individual and political consideration.

Criticising earlier administrations, Yogi Adityanath accused the previous government of neglecting Ayodhya despite its spiritual importance. He argued that attempts to weaken the city’s status could not succeed, because Ayodhya holds a special place in the beliefs of devotees across India and beyond.

"No one is above Sanatan Dharma; the previous government may have tried to undermine Ayodhya, but how can they harm the place protected by Lord Hanuman," he said.

Yogi Adityanath joins rituals as devotees throng Ram Temple

Yogi Adityanath visited Ayodhya with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for the Pran Pratishtha second anniversary events. Rajnath Singh participated as the chief 'yajman’ and hoisted a flag atop the Annapurna temple during the 'Pran Pratishtha Dwadashi’ programme held within the Ram Temple premises.

Before entering the Ram Temple, Yogi Adityanath and Rajnath Singh offered prayers at the Hanumangarhi Temple, one of the main religious sites in Ayodhya. The Pran Pratishtha Dwadashi rituals began earlier in the week and are scheduled to run until Friday, alongside other ongoing religious ceremonies.

The idol of Ram Lalla had been consecrated at the temple on 22 January 2024, in a ceremony led by Narendra Modi. With the second anniversary approaching, a representative of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust, quoted by PTI, said that around five to six lakh devotees are expected to visit Ayodhya for Ram Lalla’s darshan.

Yogi Adityanath urges youth to drive AI and computer education

Alongside the Ayodhya events, Yogi Adityanath focused on technology and education in a separate message posted on X on 30 December 2025. Yogi Adityanath described 2026 as a decisive year for Uttar Pradesh’s technological progress, saying the State is developing into a global hub for artificial intelligence and the wider digital economy.

Calling on young people to support this shift, Yogi Adityanath encouraged them to invest time in teaching nearby children basic digital skills. The Chief Minister said that even one dedicated hour each week could help spread awareness of computers and AI, and build a skilled base for Uttar Pradesh’s future.

"My respected citizens of the State, it's time to enter the year 2026. The year 2025 will be remembered for setting new standards for innovation in technology, AI, and data. Uttar Pradesh is setting new standards for future-oriented development. The State's good governance has strengthened "Brand U.P." worldwide. Uttar Pradesh has now become a State of investor confidence. I'd like my young friends to make a special resolution for the year 2026. Educate five children around you about computers and AI. Set aside at least one hour each week to share knowledge," wrote Mr. Adityanath, on X.

Yogi Adityanath said firm governance has reinforced “Brand U.P.” globally and helped transform Uttar Pradesh into a trusted location for domestic and international investors seeking long-term projects.

Yogi Adityanath said preparations are underway to develop AI cities in Lucknow and Noida, signalling a push towards specialised technology zones. Yogi Adityanath also stated that a semiconductor unit worth ₹3,700 crore is being set up in Jewar, aligning Uttar Pradesh’s economic growth with both digital innovation and large-scale infrastructure.
