No FIR registered since ACB chief Meena took over: AAP
New Delhi, Jun 27: Amid the on-going tussle between the Lt Governor and Delhi government over appointment of Mukesh Meena as the ACB chief, the AAP today said that not a single case has been registered after the officer took over and the party will form squads to "expose" corruption in the national capital.
Addressing a press conference, senior AAP leader and party founder member Kumar Vishwas alleged that the position of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) was getting "compromised" under the current officer.

"We came to power on the plank of corruption. Since the formation of the AAP government, around 150 FIRs have been registered and dozens of officers suspended.
However, ever since the ACB started looking into the 2002 CNG fitness case and name of Lt Governor cropped up, he appointed Meena as the new chief.
The credentials of Meena are doubtful as he has allegations against him," he said. Party's Delhi unit convener Dilip Pandey said that the new ACB chief was "blocking" cases in which Delhi Police was involved.
"We will have no option but to form squads comprising party volunteers and expose corruption in the city. We will tell people that the Centre is not allowing us to register an FIR against corruption," he said.
