Launched 13 Times, Failed Every Time In Politics: Amit Shah Takes A Dig At Rahul

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said that the no-confidence motion has been brought only to create a delusion by the Opposition parties.

"There is not a no-confidence in the PM and this government in the country...This no-confidence motion has been brought only to create a delusion," Shah said.

Post-independence, if the nation has confidence in any leader, it is Narendra Modi who was elected twice with the complete majority, Shah said. "After 30 years, people elected a full majority government," he pointed out.

"PM Modi is the most popular leader among the public...PM Modi works tirelessly for the people of the country. He works continuously for 17 hours a day, without taking a single leave. People trust him," the Union Home Minister said.

As this no-confidence motion is politically motivated, Shah said that he is talking about the work done by the BJP government.

"This no-confidence motion will show the real character of the Opposition in the country," he added.

• It has to be understood why they (UPA) were opposing Jan Dhan Yojana? Former PM Rajiv Gandhi had said that when Re 1 is sent from the Centre to the poo, only 15 paise reaches the beneficiary....But today, today entire amount reaches the poor.

I have seen one launching when he went to meet a poor lady from Bundelkhand named Kalavati. But what did you do for her? House, ration, and electricity were provided to her by the Modi government.
• We banned PFI in the country, and conducted raids at over 90 locations in the country. Cases regarding attacks on our missions in London, Ottawa and San Francisco handed over to NIA. 26/11 Tahawwur Hussain Rana will also soon face the judiciary in India.
• I want to tell the farmers of this country that if there is one government that has procured the maximum amount of rice on MSP, then it is the Narendra Modi government.
• We will talk to the youth of Kashmir valley, not Hurriyat, Jamiat and Pakistan. Modi government has continuously worked to make Kashmir completely free from terrorism.
• I appeal to both Meitei and Kuki communities to engage in dialogue, violence is not a solution to any problem...I assure you that we will bring peace in the state. Politics should not be done on this issue.
• A state CM needs to be changed when he is not cooperating. This CM is operated with the Centre.
• From day one I was ready for the discussion on the Manipur issue but Opposition never wanted to do a discussion. • UPA' was a good name..why did they need to change the name of the alliance? UPA was involved in scams amounting to over Rs 12 lakh crores...Who was involved in Bofors scam, 2G spectrum scam, CWG scam, Coal scam, Adarsh scam, National Herald scam, Vadra's DLF scam, Fodder scam...? They don't have any other way than changing the name of the alliance. We don't have to change our name as we are not involved in any scams. NDA govt has given a stable government to the country.
