No change of guard ceremony today: Rashtrapati Bhavan
New Delhi, Aug 17: There will be no change of guard ceremony on Saturday due to State mourning, the Rashtrapati Bhavan said today.

The ceremony, in which a group of presidential guards are changed, is a military tradition that takes place on Saturdays.
"The change of guard ceremony on the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan will not to be held this Saturday (August 18, 2018) due to State mourning," the statement by the Rashtrapati Bhavan said.
A seven-day State mourning was announced by the central government due to the death of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Vajpayee, aged 93, passed away yesterday at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here.
