Nitish Kumar celebrates an eventful 66th birthday
Bihar CM also flagged off ‘Beti Raksha Rath’ at CM Secretariat in Patna on his birthday.
Patna, March 1: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had an eventful 66th birthday on Wednesday. He got a call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to wish him long life and good health and then he had to face noisy scenes created by BJP MLAs in the assembly. The opposition MLAs were protesting against his minister's controversial statement against PM.
Nitish had to say that it was wrong on the part of his minister to call PM names. CM had then to face the press conference of Satish Kumar, the former state vice president of JD(U) who he had removed from the party on Tuesday for anti-party activities. Bihar CM also flagged off 'Beti Raksha Rath' at CM Secretariat in Patna on his birthday.
Here are some images that reflect how Nitish has evolved his acrimonious relation with PM in the recent past and how he has kept momentum of development on in Bihar.
