NIA arrests 4 from Bengal for possessing fake notes
In a late night swoop, a team of the National Investigation Agency arrested four persons in West Bengal in connection with a fake currency case. All four residents of Malda in West Bengal were held after they were found in possession of fake currency to the tune of Rs 9 lakh.

Following specific inputs about the movement of fake currency, the NIA team apprehended the four persons from near the Howrah Railway station in Kolkata. NIA officials said that they had fake currency in the Rs 2,000 denomination.
Barkat Ansari, Utpal Chowdhury, Fijul Mia and Rabjul Mia were the ones arrested by the NIA. A case has been registered and investigations are on.
