New timings for booking Tatkal tickets from July 15

New Delhi, June 12: Railway authorities on Friday said the timings for booking tickets under the Tatkal scheme have been revised effective July 15 onwards.

Under the revised schedule, the booking of Tatkal tickets for air-conditioned (AC) coaches will start at 10 a.m. and for the non-AC coaches at 11 a.m., the railway ministry said in a statement.

As of now, bookings under Tatkal scheme for all types of coaches open at 10 a.m. on the previous day of journey from the train originating station.

All types of ticketing agents like YTSK, RTSAs, IRCTC agents and others will be debarred from booking tickets during the first thirty minutes of opening of booking timings.

The booking counters open at 8 a.m. for general bookings.
