NEET Controversy:

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) has been in the limelight over irregularities that took place in the Under Graduation examination. Thousands of students nationwide have been protesting against the authorities and many filed cases in the Supreme Court of India.

On Tuesday, the Apex court scolded the test agencies stating that even 0.001% irregularities will not be tolerated as the careers of millions of students are at stake. These students will serve the nation in the future and doing wrong with them is not acceptable.

The matter came to light when many students from one center scored 720 out of 720 marks. Now, a demand to re-conduct the NEET examination is being raised by the students.
