NEET 2026 Leak Case: Know Two ‘Rakesh Sir’ And ‘Bhai Sir’ Of Sikar Behind India’s Biggest Paper Leak

The investigation into the NEET 2026 paper leak is now uncovering what agencies believe could be one of the most organised exam fraud networks in recent years. While the CBI has already arrested three members of Rajasthan's Biwal family for allegedly purchasing and distributing a leaked "guess" paper, investigators say the real story stretches far beyond those arrests and into the coaching lanes of Sikar.

The CBI investigation into the NEET 2026 paper leak is uncovering a large fraud network, focusing on Rakesh Kumar Mandawariya and Satyanarayan Chaudhary from Sikar who allegedly circulated a leaked guess paper bought for ₹15 lakh to thousands of aspirants.

At the centre of this expanding probe are two men locally known as "Rakesh Sir" and "Bhai Sir", figures who allegedly operated quietly behind the scenes while building a chain that eventually reached thousands of aspirants ahead of the medical entrance exam attended by over 23 lakh students.

'Rakesh Sir' And The Coaching Circuit In Sikar

One of the key names under investigation is Rakesh Kumar Mandawariya, who operated RK Consultancy from Piprali Road in Sikar. Known among students as "Rakesh Sir", Mandawariya allegedly worked as a consultant for medical aspirants and was reportedly involved in circulating the leaked paper before the May 3 examination.

Investigators say Mandawariya purchased the leaked "guess" paper from the Biwal brothers for nearly Rs 15 lakh. The paper was then allegedly sold to students and coaching centres for amounts ranging between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 5 lakh.

When authorities began tightening the probe, Mandawariya reportedly disappeared from Sikar. His office was later found shut, though the air conditioning was still running, suggesting a sudden exit. Rajasthan Police later detained his staff and seized electronic gadgets and computers from the consultancy office.

Mandawariya was eventually traced to Uttarakhand and taken into custody for questioning. Though he has not yet been formally arrested by the CBI, police sources claim his alleged role in the paper leak has already been established.

How The 'Guess' Paper Spread Before The Exam

According to investigators, the leaked paper started circulating between April 30 and May 2, just before the NEET exam. What initially began as a high-priced operation soon spread rapidly through informal student networks.

Officials believe some aspirants who obtained the paper shared it further for as little as Rs 15,000, while others allegedly passed it on free of cost the night before the exam.

The leak eventually surfaced after one recipient shared the paper with a friend studying MBBS in Kerala. That student reportedly passed it to his father, a hostel owner in Sikar, who then alerted authorities and exposed the wider network.

The revelation triggered a major investigation by Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group before the matter was transferred to the CBI.

The Mystery Around 'Bhai Sir' And Deep Career Institute

Another major figure now under scrutiny is chemistry teacher Satyanarayan Chaudhary, widely known in Sikar as "Bhai Sir".

Chaudhary allegedly ran an institute named Deep Career Institute, which reportedly operated only for a short period. However, investigators found that promotional posters from the institute congratulated students from the Biwal family for clearing NEET in previous years.

Among those featured were Palak, Saniya and Gunjan Biwal. Palak and Saniya are daughters of Ghanshyam Biwal, while Gunjan is the daughter of Dinesh Biwal, one of the main accused arrested in the case.

Police are now trying to determine whether Deep Career Institute functioned as a genuine coaching centre or merely served as a front for a larger leak operation.

Former neighbours told investigators that Chaudhary often prepared "guess papers" called "The Master Stroke", which allegedly matched questions in earlier examinations as well. Agencies are currently verifying those claims.

Although Chaudhary was questioned earlier in the probe, he has reportedly gone missing after the CBI took the three primary accused to Delhi.

Over 150 Questioned As Probe Widens

Police sources said around 150 people have been questioned so far in connection with the NEET leak case, while nearly 40 individuals were detained during the investigation. Many of those questioned were students who were later released after agreeing to cooperate with investigators whenever required.

Officials said the Rajasthan Police's responsibility was to confirm whether a leak had actually occurred and assess its scale before handing the investigation to the CBI.

"People like Mandawariya and Chaudhary are being investigated. As the probe progresses, these shadowy figures, and others like them, may emerge as the key cogs in the paper leak machine," said an official.
