Naxal with Rs 12 lakh reward on head surrenders in Maharashtra

Nagpur, June 20: A Naxal couple, carrying rewards on their heads, today surrendered before the police in Maharashtra.

Vijay alias Dhaniram Dugga (26), a commander of Pachgaon Dalam, was carrying a reward of Rs 12 lakh on his head while his wife Radha alias Vasanti Kova (23) was carrying a reward of Rs two lakh on her head, police said.

Dugga was allegedly involved in several cases of Naxal violence including encounters with police, said Gadchiroli police's spokesperson Tejasvi Patil.
