Nature Does Not Recognize Geography: Himanta's Jibe At AAP On Blame Game On Floods
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday took a swipe at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over its blame game on floods and said that he will not point fingers at other states over nature's fury.
On his Twitter account, the BJP leader said, "Every year, we receive water from Bhutan, Arunachal, and even from China. We face floods with brave hearts. We experience pain and misery beyond human imagination, yet we do not blame others. Because we know that nature does not recognize geography."

This comes after the AAP leaders blamed Haryana for the flood-like situation in parts of Delhi.
Delhi Cabinet minister Saurabh Bharadwaj on Saturday alleged that flood in the city were caused by the the BJP-led Centre and Haryana government wilfully releasing water towards the national capital.
Bharadwaj said it has not rained in Delhi in the last 3-4 days, yet still the water level in Yamuna reached 208.66 metres. "The water from Hathnikund Barrage is released from three canals -- Western Canal, Eastern Canal and Yamuna. As part of a conspiracy, between July 9 and 13, water was released from Yamuna canal only towards Delhi. There was no water released through the Western and Eastern Canal," he claimed.
He and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made similar charges on Friday, even as the city government butted heads with Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena over a broken regulator that allegedly caused inundation on the Vikas Marg.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday hit out at the AAP for accusing the state government of being responsible for the flood-like situation in parts of Delhi, saying doing politics on natural calamities is "unethical".
Taking a jibe at Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal, Khattar said that "it seems that Haryana has become a nightmare for Kejriwal whenever Delhi is in trouble".
"Be it a pollution issue, water issue or any other, when Arvind Kejriwal fails to find any solution, he starts playing the blame game. Doing politics even on natural calamities is totally unethical," he said.
