Varmam therapy is a distinctive healing method within the Siddha medical system. It is known for effectively treating various health issues, especially musculoskeletal pain, injuries, and neurological disorders. The Ayush ministry highlighted its rapid relief capabilities.

Recognition of Traditional Healing Systems

The event featured 567 trained Varmanis providing therapy simultaneously, showcasing the effectiveness of this traditional practice. This achievement not only highlighted the therapeutic potential of Siddha medicine but also demonstrated the growing interest in traditional healing systems.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Ayush, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, stated that such events are about raising awareness among younger generations about the science and value behind these practices.

Global and Domestic Attention

The Siddha system of medicine is gaining significant attention both globally and within India. "This type of event is not just about achieving an award; it's about raising awareness among the new generation and helping them understand the science and value behind such wonderful practices," said Kotecha.
