This comes after Narendra Modi on Nov 8 announced the demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes, in a bid to fight the black money and fake currency menace.
Since the announcment was made, there has been panic and chaos outside banks and ATMs as people try to withdraw or deposit money. Several efforts are being made to make the entire process a smooth experience for the customers.
Modi had later said that though he knew that people were facing a lot of difficulties, he appealed to everyone to bear the problems for a few more weeks till things settle down completely.
