Narendra Modi hits back at Rahul Gandhi, asks to remain 'within limits

Modi also challenged him to come out in the open to answer to the people on the Congress government's performance and not "run away".
The BJP Prime Ministerial candidate sought to link a "close aide of 10, Janpath" (Sonia Gandhi's residence) to a meat exporter, whose premises were raided by tax authorities, and alleged that "money deals" were involved between them.
He also charged the "Mother-Son (Sonia-Rahul) government" of "saving" Hassan Ali, a Pune-based businessman, in an alleged blackmoney case.
"Brother Rahul, whatever lies you are continuing to speak, crossing all limits. You have nothing positive to say about yourself, your mother or about your government. That is why you are making all false, dirty and unverified remarks... "Keep things within limits. We do not talk while breaking limits. Come out in the open and give an account of the work of your government. Why are you runing away," Modi said in his address through 3D hologram technology.
Modi's attack came hours after Rahul said in Gujarat that the Gujarat Chief Minister "does not get sleep till he speaks some lies".
Attacking Sonia, he said, "Serious questions have been raised on a meat exporter whose premises has been raided at 60 places across the country by Income Tax department, who have 300 hours of taped phone conversation in which 10,Janpath, the residence of Sonia Gandhi, also finds a mention.
"A close aide of 10, Janpath has been taped in the conversation of having money deals with this businessman. Who is that person, it should come out before the nation."
Taking a jibe at the Prime Minister, he said, "PM does not see price rise, corruption or the problems nation is facing. If he can't see anything how can you see the BJP wave."
Earlier addressing a meeting in Bharuch in Gujart, Modi alleged that an unnamed "close confidante" of being involved in a multi-crore hawala scam in connection with export of mutton.
Modi has said that the centre Government's Income Tax department had recently raided sixty places of firms which is also involved in Mutton exporting firms and found involvement of Sonia Gandhi's aide.
Modi attacked Congress leadership including Sonia and Rahul Gandhi for questioning Gujarat's model of development.
Rahul, who was on a whirlwind poll campaign in Gujarat, has also accused BJP's prime ministerial candidate of favouring one industrialist over crores of people in the state.
Modi also questioned why the Election Commission was not taking action against the Congress candidate from Amritsar, Amarinder Singh, accusing him of not mentioning the foreign banks accounts of his son and wife in Geneva.
"Why is Election Commission and the media is silent on Capt Amarinder Singh's affidavit in which he has not declared the details of bank accounts of his family members in a Geneva bank. This account was opened when he was Chief Minister of Punjab," he said.
Attacking the Congress-led UPA of "inaction" in bringing back blackmoney stashed in tax havens abroad, Modi said, "the nation wants to know the truth about black money and the relation the Congress has with it."
Referring to the UPA as a "Mother-Son" government, he said, the Supreme Court had asked it to form an SIT to know where the black money belongs to.
Exhorting voters to come out in the open to vote for electing the BJP-led NDA government, he said, "this is an election of hope" as the voting has increased substantially.
He assured the nation that with his experience, the next government will come up to the expectations of the people.
Modi also raised the issue of removal of lakhs of voters from the voter list in Mumbai and termed it "worrying", hoping such a thing does not happen in the remaining phases of elections. "It is a serious issue...I am sure Election Commission is taking steps," he said.
The BJP Prime Ministerial candidate said the defeat of the "Mother-Son" government was evident and it was due to this that the Congress in the last two weeks had resorted to "abusive" language.
Hitting back at the Congress jibe that "tsunami" brings destruction, Modi said, "Yes, tsunami brings destruction and it will bring destruction. I welcome their statement. This tsunami will bring destruction of the Congress, this will destroy those who loot the country. The tsunami will spell death knell to those who have destroyed the country. On May 16, the world will see that the powers who have destroyed the nation will be destructed."
He said the opposition lost its sleep due to his big road show in Varanasi and said, "They don?t know what allegations to level or what criticism to make. The credit goes to the people of Kashi and Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb and the cultural heritage of the city."
