Nabbed Narayan Sai to be in transit remand with the Gujarat police

New Delhi, Dec 4:After evading the police for 58 days,

was nabbed at the

border in Pipli by a joint force of Gujarat, Punjab and Delhi police. Following this Delhi court granted a 24-hour transit remand of Narayan Sai and his aids to the Gujarat police.

Despite this, Narayan Sai maintained emphasizing his innocence saying that he is beign framed. He said this to his supporters when he was brought to the Ambedkar hospi
tal for medical examination in the national capital of Punjab. From there he would be produced in a Delhi court shortly, from where he would be taken to Surat for interrogation.

The scene outside Rohini court clearly stated people's resent against the self-styled godman. On getting information of his hideout at the Punjab border, the joint police force nabed him along with his aides Bhavik and Hanuman who were helping him evade the police.

Declared as a "proclaimed absconder" by the Gujarat court, Narayan Sai was slapped with rape charges by two sisters in Surat and another one by a 30-year old woman who claims that she had been raped by him between 2001 and 2005.
