MVA United, No Differences Among Allies, Says UBT Sena's Sanjay Raut

Sanjay Raut from Shiv Sena (UBT) reassures unity in the MVA coalition while discussing seat-sharing ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections. He expresses confidence in a strong performance, projecting the party to secure a significant number of seats.

Sanjay Raut, a leader from Shiv Sena (UBT), has spoken out about the anticipation surrounding the Maharashtra assembly elections, particularly regarding the seat-sharing discussions within the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).

He confidently stated that the delayed release of their candidate list is due to their certainty of forming the next government. Raut announced that the complete list of candidates would be publicized by 4 pm, dispelling rumours of internal disagreements within the alliance.

MVA United No Differences Among Allies Says UBT Sena s Sanjay Raut

"The work has almost been completed last night. There are no disputes or differences among us. Everything is going well," Raut affirmed, emphasizing the unity and consensus among the coalition parties.

Raut also addressed speculations about potential conflicts within MVA over seat allocations by asserting that there is no discord or rivalry among the allies. He reassured that all is proceeding smoothly within the alliance, signaling a consolidated front ahead of the elections. Furthermore, Raut projected a strong showing for Shiv Sena (UBT) in the upcoming polls, voicing his expectation for the party to secure a significant number of seats. "Shiv Sena (UBT) will secure a century of seats and that the country wants them to win 100 seats," he said, showcasing his optimism for a decisive victory.

The backdrop to these developments is the competitive political landscape in Maharashtra, with parties gearing up for the assembly elections. The Mahayuti alliance, which includes the BJP, Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction), and Ajit Pawar-led NCP, stands as a formidable force against the MVA coalition, consisting of Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), and Congress.

The upcoming elections are set against the historical context of the 2019 assembly polls, where the BJP emerged as the largest party, followed by Shiv Sena and Congress. The political dynamics in Maharashtra have been evolving, with alliances shifting and parties recalibrating their strategies to appeal to the electorate.

Eknath Shinde, the Maharashtra Chief Minister from the Shiv Sena, also voiced his confidence in the electoral prospects of the Mahayuti alliance. He announced the preparation of a second list of candidates, signaling a robust campaign to secure a majority in the assembly. "This is the first list (of candidates for Maharashtra Assembly election), next 2nd list will come, we will then contest the elections, then Mahayuti will win with a big majority," Shinde stated, highlighting the alliance's ambition to dominate the polls.

As the election date approaches, both the ruling Mahayuti alliance and the opposition MVA are intensifying their preparations, each confident of their victory. The political landscape in Maharashtra is poised for a vibrant electoral contest, with parties and alliances putting forth their best candidates and strategies to win the support of the electorate. The outcome of these elections will shape the state's governance and political direction for the coming term, making the assembly polls a closely watched event by observers and citizens alike.
