Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav React After School Teacher Abusing Muslim Classmate Goes Viral
The Muzaffarnagar Police on Saturday booked an F.I.R. against a teacher for making a class 2 student slap her Muslim classmate in Khubbapur village. The teacher has been identified as Tripti Tyagi.
According to the video that went viral on social media, Tyagi is accused of asking her class 2 students to slap the boy in the classroom. However, Tyagi denied the allegations by saying that the video had been tampered with. She further stated that she was forced to take such an action as she was handicapped.

As per a media report, Superintendent of Police Satyanarayan Prajapat was quoted saying that the person who filmed the video claimed that the accused teacher abused the parents of the Muslim students for not paying attention to their studies.
Reportedly the the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) has been directed for departmental action against the accused teacher.
As per the viral video, Tyagi is seen saying "Abki baar kamar pe maaro... chalo... muh pe na maaro, ab muh laal ho raha hai... kamar pe maaro saare (Hit him on the waist... his face is turning red... hit him on the waist instead)."
Meanwhile, leaders from different political parties have commented on the incident which spread like fire on social media.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), of the incident. Gandhi in his post on X, formerly Twitter, said, "Sowing the poison of discrimination in the minds of innocent children, turning a holy place like school into a marketplace of hatred - nothing worse a teacher can do for the country. This is the same kerosene spread by the BJP which has set every corner of India on fire. Children are the future of India - we all have to teach them love not hatred."
On the other hand, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav demanded the termination of the accused teacher.
However, taking a dig at Yadav, BJP spokesperson Harishchandra Srivastava tagged Yadav's post as a "political agenda".
"The tweet made by Akhilesh Yadav regarding the Muzaffarnagar school incident is superficial politics and a disgusting political agenda to create disharmony in the society. We all in our student life have been punished by the teacher in school for not remembering tables, not correcting Maths questions or not having good writing, and this is a natural process of improving discipline and talent in students," he said.
