Music composer Ravindra Jain critical, airlifted from Nagpur to Mumbai
Mumbai, Oct 7: Revered Bollywood music director Ravindra Jain was shifted from Wockhardt Hospital in Nagpur to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai when he fell critically ill during a concert.
He had come to the city for a concert Sunday but could not participate as his blood sugar fell drastically. His blood sugar went down to 90/60 and was admitted to Platina Heart Care hospital where his condition worsened.

Doctors at Wockhardt declared that his condition was very critical which is when the family members decided that they would shift him to Mumbai. Although the air ambulance reached Nagpur on Tuesday night itself, he was airlifted only on Wednesday morning.
Jain had been ailing for quite some time and was already under treatment at Lilavati hospital. However, he came to Nagpur to keep his promise for the programme that he had planned earlier.
