The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed 18 cases of which 4 are against Robert Vadra's firm in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan government had recommended a CBI probe into the land deals at Bikaner. Some of these lands are allegedly linked to Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra.

The 18 cases re-registered after taking over from Rajasthan government pertain to fraudulent and fictitious claims and allotments in lieu of land acquired for Mahajan field firing range Bikaner which is used by the Army," a CBI spokesperson said.

Rajasthan home minister Gulab Chand Kataria said four FIRs are related to Sky Light Hospitality, allegedly linked to Vadra. "As many as 18 FIRs are registered and four of them are against Vadra's company which was allegedly involved in illegal purchase of nearly 275 bigha land.

Kataria had said that all 18 FIRs were in connection with the purchase of around 1,400 bigha land in fake names. He alleged that Vadra was a third party to the purchase of 275 bigha land in the year 2010 and it sold the land to a fourth party in 2012.
