Arshad's Failed Jaipur Murder Attempt Before Lucknow Family Killings: Full Story

In a chilling revelation, Mohammad Arshad, the prime suspect in the brutal murder of his mother and four sisters in Lucknow, has confessed to an earlier attempt to kill his family in Jaipur.

The 24-year-old, currently under investigation for the December 31st killings at Naka Hotel in Lucknow, reportedly failed in his first attempt but later lured his family to Lucknow under the guise of a meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Failed Attempt in Jaipur

According to police sources, Arshad initially tried to execute his deadly plan in Jaipur, where his family had traveled from Agra to Ajmer, before staying in a hotel. Arshad and his father, Mohammad Badar, attempted to kill the family during this trip, but their plan was thwarted. The family then moved to Lucknow, where the tragedy finally unfolded.

A Night of Horror in Lucknow

On December 31st, Arshad allegedly invited his mother and sisters to consume food and drinks laced with intoxicating pills. Once they fell unconscious, he proceeded to strangle his mother and younger sister, while slashing the necks and wrist veins of the other victims. Disturbingly, Arshad recorded the entire act, trying to link it to a religious motive. The police investigation is ongoing as authorities work to verify his claims and motives.

Inconsistent Statements Raise Doubts

During a day-long interrogation, Arshad’s statements were reportedly inconsistent, with him changing his version of events multiple times. Authorities are investigating whether his statements are accurate or if he is attempting to mislead the investigation. Police are also questioning his relatives and associates to piece together the truth.

The Hunt for Arshad’s Father

While Arshad is in custody, his father, Mohammad Badar, remains at large. Police are actively searching for him across multiple hideouts, using CCTV footage and surveillance to track his movements. It is believed that Badar played a significant role in the crime, including allegedly bringing a blade used in the murder from their home in Agra.

A Dark Family History

Further investigation has uncovered a troubling history of abuse within the family. Arshad’s father, Badar, is said to have tortured his wife and daughters, including an incident where he reportedly tried to bury his daughter alive. Arshad, during questioning, gave conflicting accounts of his father’s whereabouts on the night of the murders. Initially, he claimed his father had gone to commit suicide, only to later say he dropped him at the station, with Badar fleeing to avoid arrest.

Family's Shock and Confusion

The relatives of the victims, who arrived in Lucknow to claim the bodies for burial, expressed their disbelief and sorrow over the incident. Arshad's uncle, Danish, who is from Sambhal, shared that the family was unaware of any family disputes or tensions that could have led to such extreme actions. He also confirmed that the last rites would be performed in their village in Sambhal.

Ongoing Investigation

As the investigation continues, police are focused on verifying Arshad's statements and determining whether there was a larger plan behind the murders. The authorities are also exploring the possibility of deeper motives, including religious conversion, as mentioned by Arshad in his chilling video.
