PM Modi pays tribute to Bal Thackeray on birth anniversary
New Delhi, Jan 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tribute to late Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackeray on his birth anniversary.
"Balasaheb Thackeray...my mind is filled with many memories. Tributes to the widely admired and respected personality on his birth anniversary," Modi tweeted.
Bal Thackeray, an Indian politician who founded Shiv Sena, was born in Pune on January 23, 1926.
Bal Thackeray died on November 17, 2012.
