Security breach at PM’s roadshow in Mysuru as cellphone pelted at him
In a security breach incident, a cell phone was thrown towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his roadshow in Mysuru on Sunday evening.
A woman reportedly threw her mobile phone at the PM when he was on a specially designed vehicle, as part of campaigning for the May 10 Assembly elections, the cops told PTI.

The cops told the news agency that she threw her cell phone out of "excitement" and had no "ill intention." The phone fell on the bonnet of the vehicle and the Prime Minister noticed it and informed about the object to the Special Protection Group (SPG) sleuths.
"The Prime Minister was under the protection of the SPG. The lady (whose phone fell on PM's vehicle) was a BJP worker. The SPG people returned it to her later," Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), Alok Kumar told PTI.
"In the excitement (of the event), it was thrown and she had no (ill) intention but we are trying to trace the lady because the phone was handed over to her by the SPG sleuths," he added.
However, the person who threw the phone in the roadshow has been called to record a statement on Monday morning, the ADGP told ANI.
Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha and former ministers K S Eshwarappa and SA Ramadas were also in the same vehicle.
According to a report, the mobile was thrown by the woman when the vehicle reached the small clock tower on Sayyaji Rao Road.
The incident was captured on camera and the clip has now gone viral.
In the last two months, several incidents of attempted security breaches during the PM's events in the poll-bound Karnataka have been reported.
A few weeks ago, a youth skipped barricades and ran towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's convoy. The incident occurred during PM Modi's road show in Davangere.
In the video doing rounds on social media, the youth tried to reach closer to the Prime Minister's convoy.
