Militants flee with rifles in J&K

Srinagar, May 8: Suspected militants on Sunday, May 8 snatched four rifles from policemen on duty at a police post in south Kashmir's Kulgam district.

The militants fled away with four rifles –two SLRs and two INSAS rifles – from a police post guarding the minority community in Adijan area of Kulgam at around 2 AM, a police official said.

He said the police have launched a manhunt to nab the rifle snatchers. Police has also started an investigation into the incident, the official said.
