Married Indian Woman Anju Converts to Islam And Weds Pakistani Facebook Friend
In a dramatic turn of events, an Indian woman named Anju embarked on a legal journey to a remote village in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where she subsequently converted to Islam and married her Pakistani lover, Nasrullah. Now known as Fatima after her conversion, the couple's union was solemnized in a nikah ceremony at the district courts in Upper Dir. They even released a video titled 'Anju weds Nasrullah,' which showcases their affectionate moments as they explore scenic mountainous spots in the region.
Confirming the nikah of Fatima (formerly Anju) aged 35, and Nasrullah, aged 29, Malakand Division Deputy Inspector General Nasir Mehmood Satti disclosed that she has embraced the name Fatima after her conversion. Due to security concerns, the woman was escorted to her new in-law's home under police protection.

Interestingly, the turn of events occurred just after Fatima (previously Anju) had claimed that she had no intentions of marrying Nasrullah and would return to India when her visa expired on August 20. Even Nasrullah himself denied any love affair between them in an interview with news agency PTI, stating that they had no plans of getting married. He mentioned that Anju was on a visit to Pakistan, and after her visa expired, she would return to her country. In the meantime, she resided in a separate room of his home, accompanied by other female members of his family.
It's important to note that prior to her journey to Pakistan, Anju was already married in India to a man named Arvind, who lives in Rajasthan. He anxiously awaited her return, and they have two children together, a 15-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son.
Anju's father previously described her as "mentally disturbed and eccentric," but he denied any involvement in an affair. He also expressed concern that she had gone to Pakistan without informing anyone, which he considered wrong.
