Manish Sisodia Gears Up For Delhi Assembly Elections: AAP Strategise Public Outreach

Just after the bail was issued to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, convened a crucial meeting with senior party leaders and state ministers to strategize for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, expected to be held early next year.

According to party insiders, the meeting focused on preparing the party for the electoral battle ahead.

Following this meeting, the AAP announced that Sisodia will hold discussions with the party's MLAs and councillors in the coming days. The purpose of these meetings is to fine-tune the party's approach and ensure alignment among its ranks.

After these internal discussions, Sisodia is set to embark on a public outreach program, which will include padyatras across Delhi, beginning on August 14. During these padyatras, Sisodia will directly engage with residents to understand their concerns and rally support for the party.

AAP Rajya Sabha member Sandeep Pathak highlighted the challenges the party is facing, alleging that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is actively trying to halt AAP's projects and disrupt the party's efforts. Pathak emphasized that despite these adversities, the AAP remains resilient and committed to its mission.

In response, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva criticized the AAP, stating that while the city grapples with severe issues like waterlogging, drowning incidents, and electrocution-related deaths, the AAP is preoccupied with promoting leaders embroiled in legal challenges. Sachdeva expressed concern over the AAP's focus on its internal affairs at a time when Delhi's residents are facing significant hardships.

As the Delhi assembly elections approach, the political landscape in the Capital is intensifying, with both parties sharpening their strategies and preparing for what is likely to be a fiercely contested election.
