Manipur: 20 Army personnel killed, 12 injured in ambush by militants
Chandel (Manipur), June 4: Atleast 20 Army personnel were killed and 12 injured in a militant attack in Manipur's on Thursday.
10 army personnel include 1 JCO, 7 ORs, 1 SIG constable, 1 ASC Driver and 12 injured.

A team of 6 Dogra Regiment was on a routine road opening patrol.
The ambush was laid by unidentified militant outfit when the convoy reached between Paralong and Charong villages around 8.30 a.m.
An army spokesman said that the militants first fired rocket-propelled grenades at the four-vehicle convoy which was on its way to Imphal from Chandel.
Most of the bodies were charred.
This is being seen as the worst attack on the Indian Army in at least a decade.
