Man stabs mother, eats her heart with chutney after she refuses to give money

A 27-year-old daily wage labourer stabbed his mother to death after she refused to give him money for alcohol at Kolhapur in Maharashtra on Monday.

The accused has been identified as Sunil Kuchakurni, who was deprived of food and was in a drunken state when he returned home.

When his mother refused to give him money for the alcohol, furious Sunil took knife and stabbed her. He later cut her intestines, her heart and ate the latter after seasoning it with pepper and chutney.

Sunil is married and has three kids. However, his wife stays with her parents at their house in Mumbai along with the three children after being fed up of his alcoholic behaviour.

The incident came to light only after neighbours spotted him walking out of the house with blood dripping from his hands approximately an hour after they heard screams and informed the police.

Police has arrested Sunil for the murder. A case has been registered under IPC section under section 302 (Punishment for Murder) later that day.
