Man injured in firing by militants in Baramulla district
Srinagar, Sept 9: Suspected militants on Wednesday night shot at and injured a civilian in Sopore area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district, police said.
"Some unknown gunmen fired upon one Tayamurul Ayoub outside his home at Thak Gund in Dangiwacha area of Baramulla district around 9.30 pm," a police officer said.
He said the 25-year-old victim has been shifted to a hospital here for treatment.
No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack so far, the officer added.
