Man Fatally Run Over and Four Injured in Land Dispute Attack in Guna District

A land dispute in Guna district, Madhya Pradesh, resulted in the fatality of Ramswaroop Nagar and injuries to four others. The attack involved a jeep and multiple assailants.

A violent incident in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district resulted in the death of a man and injuries to four others due to a land dispute, according to police reports. The attack occurred in Ganeshpura village within the jurisdiction of Fatehgarh police station, involving a conflict over six bighas of farmland.

The victims were heading to their field when they were intercepted by a rival group, who allegedly initiated the attack. Sub-Divisional Officer of Police Vivek Asthana stated that the assailants used sticks, rods, and sharp weapons before running a jeep over one victim, Ramswaroop Nagar, aged 40.

Attack Details Emerge

Ramswaroop's wife, Vinod Bai, 38, their daughter Krishna Nagar, 17, and relatives Tanisha Nagar, 17, and Rajendra Nagar, 50, were injured while attempting to intervene. The attackers reportedly tore the clothes of Vinod Bai and the two teenage girls during the assault.

The family reached the district hospital in torn clothing. Unfortunately, Ramswaroop succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment. The police official confirmed these details.

Community Outrage and Police Action

The attack was allegedly led by Mahendra Nagar from Rajasthan and involved about 15 individuals. A case has been registered as authorities work to locate and apprehend those responsible for the attack.

The incident has sparked anger among villagers and relatives of the victims. They are demanding stringent action against those involved in this brutal act.
