Mamata Banerjee's wrath against Modi to paralyse Kolkata
Kolkata, Nov 24: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is all set to paralyse Kolkata on Monday, Nov 24. The CM decided to participate in a protest march against Narendra Modi government at the centre and CBI which has been holding an investigation into the Saradha scam chit fund scam case.
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) will begin its protest rally from College Square at 3 pm. Covering SN Banerjee road, the procession will end at Dharmatala. Hence, people in the city are advised to avoid travelling through Vidhan Sarani, MG Road, Chittaranjan Avenue, Moulali junction, Lenin Sarani, Dalhousi avenue, Brabrone road, Meo road, Jawaharlal Nehru road.

Speaking about their protest against the Centre, a senior leader of TMC said, "Our main agenda behind this protest rally is to protest against Modi government and CBI. However, we will also raise the Burdwan blast issue. We will come up with many placards which will be displayed at the rally."
Mamata's decision of taking part in this protest rally came following the arrest of TMC MP Srinjoy Bose in connection with infamous chit fund fiasco which have cornered her government in West Bengal. Meanwhile, sources informed that the State Transport Minister Madan Mitra may face CBI's wrath as the investigating agency has been watching him closely in connection with the same case.
CBI's action against TMC enraged Mamata who earlier had claimed that BJP has been using CBI as an weapon against her party.Speaking at another rally on Saturday, Mamata had accused the BJP of stage-managing the Burdwan blasts.
Earlier TMC MP Derek O'Brien also said, "part of the BJP's devious master plan, concerted strategy used even during PM's poll campaign in (West) Bengal".
The TMC has also targeted National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, who had come calling to the state in the wake of the blasts and slammed the government of Mamata Banerjee for failing to check the the mushrooming of terror hubs.
