News agency ANI reported that Anil Arora died by suicide after jumping from a terrace in Bandra around 9 a.m. The police are on the scene to investigate the reasons behind this tragic decision.

A video widely circulating on social media shows Malaika Arora's ex-husband, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, outside Anil Arora's residence on Wednesday afternoon. In the footage, Khan is seen speaking with police officials and assessing the situation. The area around the house was heavily policed to maintain privacy and order during this sensitive time, with an ambulance also stationed outside the building.

It is reported that Anil Arora fell to his death after jumping from the roof of his building. His family and loved ones are deeply shocked by the incident. The Mumbai police have also arrived at the actress's home.

Malaika Arora's mother, Joyce Polycarp, informed the police that Anil Arora, who had been staying with her since their separation, was last seen reading newspapers on the balcony. When Joyce realised he was no longer there, she looked over the edge and witnessed him falling, while the building's watchman was shouting for help. Joyce also noted that Anil Arora did not have any major health problems, apart from some knee pain.

Previously, Malaika Arora had shared that she was only 11 when her parents, Joyce Polycarp and Anil Arora, divorced. Following the separation, Malaika and her younger sister, Amrita Arora, who was just 6 at the time, were primarily raised by their mother. Their mother relocated from Thane to Chembur with both daughters after the divorce.

Earlier, Malaika Arora shared a cryptic Instagram post highlighting the value of those who truly empathize with both your joy and sorrow. Her message read, "Always pay attention to those who are genuinely happy for your happiness and truly saddened by your sadness."

In 2022, Malaika Arora spoke about her 'wonderful' childhood as well as the challenges she faced during her early years. She recalled being just 11 years old when her parents, Anil Arora and Joyce Polycarp, divorced.
