Mahila Samman Yojana: How To Apply It Online? Eligibility And More

Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal unveiled the 'Mahila Samman Yojana'. Under this welfare scheme, women in Delhi will receive Rs 1000 monthly from the government. Kejriwal promised that if the AAP wins the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections, the amount will be increased to Rs 2100 per month.

Addressing a gathering, Kejriwal clarified that women will not be able to avail the benefits of the scheme immediately. However, if AAP forms the government after the elections, they will be eligible for the financial aid.

Eligibility for Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana:

1. The woman must be a registered voter in Delhi.
2. The woman's annual income should be Rs 2.50 lakh or less.
3. The woman must be between 18 and 60 years of age. (Women above 60 are already eligible for other pension schemes.)
4. If the woman owns a four-wheeler, she will not be eligible for the scheme.
